Inspired by "Die Hoffnung II (Hope II)" by Gustav Klimt – a reference for delicacy and praise of a motherhood.
For me, looking at the painting by Gustav Klimt, the round shapes are somehow meaning the future of the baby– maybe they are like crayons – oh, maybe the baby will also be a painter?
I explore this idea, adding more layers onto the circular shapes. Maybe they are the best wishes to the baby – hope you meet great people on your way – complex, multilayered, built with various ideas and feelings, indicated by colours.
The brown cones refers to my cigarettes addiction.
Sometimes you care for too many, but need just one.
The knees part had some "Lovers" by Rene Magritte, but I decided to save that thought for later.
The initial disproportions were inspired by Egon Schiele.

A humble golden leaf gliding.

2025.08.10 – Early sketch based on a photograph. The angry type is not really what I'm looking for.
The starting of this painting was directly after "Permovere".
